Pre-Introduction Filler

This is a sort of test-post, just to check out the new format. What I'm doing here, with this blog, is reading Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand, and taking it apart piece by piece to understand it. In the interest of full disclosure, I am:
-White
-Female
-Bisexual
-Christian*
-Monogamous
-Vegetarian
-Cisgendered
-Student
-Lower Middle Class
-Schizophrenic/Bipolar
*Shamanist. It's Complicated.
I may have skimmed over a privilege or label, but that's about the full picture. I toyed with the idea of putting those classifications in order of their importance to me, or what have you, but in the end, that felt wrong-- what may be not a big deal to me is a huge deal to others, and how am I supposed to put an order on "Christian" versus "Monogamous"? Or "Schizophrenic/Bipolar" versus "Bisexual"? They're all part of my identity, and none of them are going away any time soon. But who knows? Maybe I'll finish out the novel as a total Objectivist Libertarian type!
A quick note on tags, before I go: I'm trying to be consistent, here; I'll catalog them as they come up. Until I've got some real material, this is it for now: "Miscellaneous" is anything unrelated to the actual book/reading. "Biographical" is anything about myself. "Indexed" is anything pertaining to the blog in a meta way-- introductions, footnotes, and the like. "Rand" is the tag for the book's author, "Atlas" is the tag for the book itself. "Recs" is something pertaining to another work, and recommendations thereof.
